Getting to know your child

We work closely with our primary colleagues throughout the year and have already started contacting them to obtain information so that we can support students when they arrive.  For those children who require additional help, our SENDCo is on hand to ensure that appropriate support continues into Year 7.  

Transition Programme for students

SBL Academy has a well established transition programme.  In addition to working with Primary colleagues we visit students in their primary setting and then meet them again during our Transition visits.  

Over the coming months we will post more information on things you can do to help prepare your child for Secondary school.
